Blue-i Event Technology supply technical management and equipment to Live Events.

They invested in HireTrack in 2005 as their equipment inventory had increased to such a level that they could no longer run a manual fleet management system.

The company operates over 2 sites - Leeds and Hemel Hempstead and HireTrack users are divided between Project Managers and Warehouse staff.
Since using HireTrack, Blue-i fleet use has become far more efficient than previously and the company are able to better forecast utilisation thus have become much more reliable.
Administration and accounting procedures have also improved and HireTrack enables Blue-i to assess margin in a much faster and easier way than before.
By using the Notes and Attachment pages, they are able to get much more information onto the job to be seen by more staff. Efficiency has improved considerably.
Blue-i allocate staff to oversee equipment going out on jobs, but since using HireTrack there been marked improvements in picking and returning stock items. In fact, a notable amount of fewer items are missed from pick lists, and there are fewer shipping errors, which saves us even more money.
