If the upgrade encounters any problems then these will be logged and displayed at the end.

 

Data transfer failed due to error

 

If any error list show contains lots of "Data transfer failed due to error" messages then before contacting support@navigator.co.uk you should check the settings of the BDE Administrator (bdeadmin.exe - right click Run As Administrator) on your machine.

 

On the Configuration tab, System | INIT entry, check the following settings exist:

 

 SHAREDMEMLOCATION: 0x5BDE

 SHAREDMEMSIZE: 4096 (or bigger)

 

To save your changes to BDE Administrator, select Object | Apply from menu.

 

Multiple NET FILES in use

 

If you receive a multiple NET Files in use error, then either someone is currently using the HireTrack Eclipse database you are trying to upgrade or you have copied the database whilst it was still in use and it contains p*.lck files.
